What is this

Hi sporners I have had this on my leg for as long as I can remember. Any ideas what it is?

Zooming in it just looks like a raised mole.

Mmm I am very moley but none that look like this. The top is shiny.

I've got something similar on the back of my arm. It was an insect bite I think. It's a hard lump now - I've had it for years.
Sorry for poor photo. It's not easy taking photos of the back of your arm!

Coincidentally I was reading up on how to remove thorns/splinters today as Ds had one. The article explained how some just stay under the skin and form a small lump called a granuloma if they are not removed. Might be that?

No idea but I have a couple too. For ages.

I had one like that - I sliced it with a scalpel and it hasn't grown back.

I have one. Doctor said it is a cyst. Plan to get it removed as I keep nicking it shaving, or have to leave a clump of hairs round it.

I have something like that, it's a keloid scar, unusual on white skin but I have several as does my cousin's son
