Bumble bee sized earwax

Currently on holiday in Crete, had to take my 5yo to the medical centre this afternoon due to her complaining of earache.

They had to repeatedly syringe/flush/hoover her left ear out over the course of an hour, and eventually left us for 30 minutes massaging some ear drops in.

Finally, with me and two nurses pinning her down while she screamed the house down, they retrieved this....

That is incredible.

Lots of swimming? Both dts and two cousins plus most of the resort had the same last year when we were in Crete. I don't think the pool was chlorinated at all.

DP is getting his ears done next week. I've told him to get photos.

It was glorious and traumatic in (almost) equal measure. Poor kid
