What is this!!??

I'm over weight - and woken up to find this HUGE painful lump on my tummy....

It hurts and it's huge and purple!

It's an abscess it will either self drain or you will need to see a doctor to have it lanced. I get them often I used to go to the gp and was given antibiotics but I don't bother now I just wait for them to self drain, keep them clean. It's only a small one so will not need packing.

Did you stick a needle in it OP? I'm asking because that's absolutely what I would have done!

i had one like that under my boob/ rib cage....blamed the bra wires and swore to throw that bra out, but noticed a huge blemish when I got undressed

it was so sore and was beginning to make me feel really shivery and ill, and we were away from home, but I remembered the standard MN advice of mag sulph and cover
and on the fourth day I was giving it a vigorous squeeze and poking it with a pin clean up and it burst!

I was beginning to think i was growing an extra bosom though!
