If you want to see spot squeezing, popping or videos showing the removal of blackheads - this is the place for you.

What's this - and more importantly can I poke it with a needle?

The blackish ring - I really hope reckon it might be one of those lovely coiled up ingrown hairs, dh says it looks like a blood blister. Do you think it'll be ok to take a needle to it or is a bit sinister and should I see a gp. Btw the red/pink lumpy thing is a cyst and dr said a few years back that they could remove it but the scarring from surgery would probably be noticeable than it - in case you're wondering Grin oh and it's on my leg about three inches above my ankle.

Thread vein?

SinkGirl · 02/06/2019 10:43

Most definitely a hair. I get them a lot.

SinkGirl · 02/06/2019 10:44

Actually looking again it may not be - I’m pretty sure it is, but hard to say for sure without a magnifying glass 😂

SinkGirl · 02/06/2019 10:45

If it is a hair, it’s under a very thin layer of skin so if you run your fingernail over it lightly you should feel the hair

It’s a hair!! Poke it! Poke it!!!

CosmicVagina · 02/06/2019 17:25

Have you poked it yet?

Omzlas · 04/06/2019 12:21

Good God OP, do you not realise the importance of updates, with photos!?!?

iknowimcoming · 04/06/2019 15:08

Sorry Blush I did poke it but it wasn't very forthcoming and the way I have to twist my leg up and round to reach it properly is both unattractive and unsustainable for more than 5 mins, but I shall try again shortly and update

Dull update - can't 'feel' anything in it but it bleeds like a pig so have given up and stuck some mag sulph on it to see if it brings out anything, will report when I have 'news'
