I have a squishy boil. It’s sort of wide and flat and a bit tender.

I put a blob of sudocrem on it and plaster on it all day today. Will wait till dh gets home for popping as it’s on my back!

Plaster off and no head. But it’s definitely a bit more squishy.

Dh has just had a little squeeze (yeeeeee-ouchhhhh!) and a tiny bit of yellow came out. But it hurt and so now-

Plan one-
Use a needle make a little hole and squeeze.

Plan two-
Leave overnight.

What if you leave it overnight and all the oozy pusiness seeps out under cover of darkness? I vote for poke and squeeze tonight.

Ok sorry still no pictures but we did have a good poke.

Dh washed his hands and sterilised a needle in an old olive jar with boiling water and some salt.

He then made a small incision and had a squeeze. A small amount of yellow creamy pus came out. We then decided to up our game.

Hot flannel- pressed on my back for as long as I could take it and then he went back in.

He shouted oh my fucking god and a spiral of pus shot at him, got on his top and made him almost do a sick. He was revolted. But he persevered. Another squeeze and the same again. Another spiral of yellow pus.

Not so much came out after that and it was a bit sore the second time but we have ceased for this eve. Will report back after the morning.

Have put some sudocrem on. Will await for tomorrow’s situation.

This morning. It’s hard and a bit bigger! I just got DH to get some more pus out which landed on his chest.

He’s refusing to do more. What a baby.

Well.

Woke up in the night and it felt sore, so just turned on my side. Laid in bed this morning with dh and asked him nicely to have a look.

Even though he said he wouldn’t touch it, he couldn’t resist and gave it a forceful squeeze and with that a massive splurt came out and hit him on the forehead.

So my little boil has gone. It’s a bit tender but all flat now.

It might refill I guess it’s right on my bra strap so I guess with the warmer weather the right sweaty conditions it could.

I’ll keep a watchful eye.

Dh says he feels sick. I made him a bacon sandwich to make up for it.

I would say there was probably about 1/6 of a teaspoons worth of pus. All yellow and creamy. that’s a sick face.

Hahaha we do! Thanks OP. It may well be that if it’s a cyst it could keep refilling until the sac is removed (which you’ll need to get done by a pro) but glad to hear you had more success with it this morning ;)
