Anyone interested in saliva gland stones?

Morning, fellow sickos!

DH is at the hospital this morning having a saliva gland stone removed from under his tongue.

I mentioned last night that I would have quite liked to watch the procedure and he's just texted to say he asked to keep it to show me! I feel both excited and ashamed.

Anyone else interested to see a photo (when he gets home later)? Apparently they were able to pop it out, no incision needed.

I popped one of these out once. It looked like a tic tac but I accidentally swallowed it before I could get a good look at it.
It was such a relief when it popped out, as I couldn’t eat without the side of my neck swelling up like a chipmunk.

I had one once but it was more of a chalky extruded wiggly narrow thing. (Dreadful syntax there, sorry)

Im so intrigued by these! Its amazing what the human body can produce!! It looks as if it would be so sore. I saw i video of a man pulling one out and it was a good inch long!
