Magnesium Sulphate

So, did some gardening yesterday and the bastarding pyracantha bit me! I am full of thorns so have applied magnesium sulphate, I've never done this before, does anyone know how long I need to leave it on for?

I don't know the answer to this but would also like to know. My husband has a horrible ingrown hair on his tummy which has swollen all around. He won't wear mag sulph compress during the week incase it gets on his clothes. Wondering if I can sort it over the weekend.

Well left to my own devices, I slapped I the magnesium sulphate, covered with a plaster and left overnight. That was enough to pull the thorns close enough to the surface that I could get them! Mike's better than poking with a needle
