His toenails have been like this for... er... can't remember. They grow weird, really don't look nice. Is he the devil?

That’s exactly how my sons grow!

Is it not normal?!

everycowandagain · 12/08/2018 22:01

Same here... concave nails, odd pointy corners... DD is almost 5 and hers are starting to look more normal so I am less worried about DS who is 2!!

bonzo77 · 12/08/2018 22:05

All mine looked a bit like this. If allowed to grow, the ends curl under and grow into the skin, not breaking it but leaving dents. At first I blamed myself for not getting the feet measured often enough. Except the big toes which seem to curl up and the corners, just like your child’s.

keepingbees · 12/08/2018 22:11

My kids look/looked like this. They grow normal eventually!

GrainneWail · 12/08/2018 22:11

Ds is 6 and still has the mutant nails.

BirdsAndBlips · 12/08/2018 22:23

Aaaaah thanks a lot I was really worried he would turn out to be a dragon or something

I'm pretty sure ds would like to be a dragon. At least a dragon pokemon.

lackingimagination · 12/08/2018 22:52

A dragon 😂

Perfectly1mperfect · 12/08/2018 22:53

Are they indented ? It's hard to tell from the photo. If they are I think that can be anaemia. I have no medical knowledge just read lots about nail problems when I damaged one of mine so I am probably wrong. Hmm

Ooh DDs were the same. She’s now 7 and only the big ones are still slightly odd. One foot more than the other.
