Horrible recurrent red swelling at tip of my nose - help!

As the title says anything I can do to make it simmer down, please?

Is it painful? How long have you had it? Does it completely disappear? Is it coming from inside your nostril or on your face skin?

I don't want to worry you OP and I love a bit of sporn but that is right in the maxillofacial pyramid of death so if it's more than a common or garden spot, I'd get it checked out by a Dr.

Have you poked it at all Contessa? or hot compressed it? I'd do that for sure

I had something similar and my pharmacist recommended Blistex, I queried it as I know this to be for chapped lips and cold sores.
She insisted I try and it did work!!

Looks similar to a swelling DH gets now and again. He uses an antibiotic cream inside his noseprescribed by the gp.

I poked it as it got a white head on it - v unsatisfying as it didn't turn out to be puss-y. DC then got impetigo v quickly, so I suspect it was my fault fusidic acid cream for them and systemic flucloxacillin for me (am stealing their meds too though)....
