Look what I pulled out of DH’s face last night!

It’s not much, but it is SO WEIRD! He’d been complaining of a painful spot on his cheek for a couple of days so I had a look and a prod on Sunday night, got a tiny bit of yellow gunk out, nothing much. Last night I had a look and it was like a bullseye, red round ring around the outer edge, then a yellow circle, and a black dot in the middle! So I got my tool on it and this thing popped out!

It’s probably a weird tiny but thick ingrown hair(?) but it’s black and DH is ginger, hasn’t a black hair anywhere on him!

Could it be a thorn?

Could it be part of a tick? Just that the bullseye rash can be a sign of Lyme disease if you have been bitten by a tick. If this is the case, he needs to visit gp. Keep an eye out for other Lyme disease symptoms.

I also think that it could be the part of a tick that "drills" into the skin.
Or one hell of a black head.

Bullseye pattern could mean Lyme disease from tick bite. Get the gp to do a blood test.

Definitely go to GP might be a tick
