Help!

I have an “infected cyst” on my leg (side of my knee) and I’ve been given antibiotics. It is SO painful (and I have a 6 week baby I birthed with no pain relief!)! Is there anything I can do to ease the pain or make the damn thing pop?! I can’t see a head and squeezing it makes me dizzy!

Oh poor you OP. Are they going to do a proper drainiage or just try and clean up the burst?

I didn’t observe anything I’m afraid - just felt my trousers get wet. It was reminiscent of when my waters went - not really😂

Anyway, it hadn’t popped, it’s just oozing.

Still waiting.

Did they draw the dark line around to measure how much it grows or is that a new development?

My son had something similar from a spider bite, in the end they decided not to operate but pumped him full of IV antibiotics.

Just to reassure anyone who hasn't thought to search, OP has been posting on other threads, so is presumably not dying of sepsis, but perhaps has lost or forgotten about this thread!
