I'm excited that I've got my own sporner thread.

I have developed a boil on my arse. Sadly there will be no pictures as it in the crack of my arse. There is no actual head yet. But it's the size of a marble. You can literally get your fingers all round it and pull it up. It's massive. Doesn't hurt much at this stage.

I have squeezed it. Mainly clear liquid but some pus yesterday.

So it's a wait and see for now. I'll keep you all posted.

You really wouldn't thank me for a photo.
It's a real hard lump this morning.

I do 6 classes at the gym on Mondays. Think I aggravated it yesterday

I thought you weren't supposed to squeeZe boils? My sons got a beast of one That I'd love to squeeze but all the nhs advice is that it's a total no no and have done so in the past and had to have anti biotics ...Sorry to be a party pooper

Is it at the base of your spine? I had one there once that was excruciating. I had to take a day off work after a weekend of lying face down. Suddenly there was a crack and the bastard went postal with the pus. God knows what I would have done otherwise.

Sounds like a pilonidal sinus - you probably should go to your GP

If it's the pilonodal, it's really common. Don't pop it, go get it checked get it checked

Ooh pilonidal sinus, ive had recurring ones which grew to an egg size, finally resolved by surgery followed by daily nurse dressings

It's not at the bottom of my spine. It's further round. Inside the arse cheek.

I had a good shave round there the other day which has probably caused it.

All sporners squeeze. The the law!!

It's sounds like an anal fistula. You ought to get it checked out to make sure as it could need draining and packing. Good luck.
