I'm excited that I've got my own sporner thread.

I have developed a boil on my arse. Sadly there will be no pictures as it in the crack of my arse. There is no actual head yet. But it's the size of a marble. You can literally get your fingers all round it and pull it up. It's massive. Doesn't hurt much at this stage.

I have squeezed it. Mainly clear liquid but some pus yesterday.

So it's a wait and see for now. I'll keep you all posted.

You really wouldn't thank me for a photo.
It's a real hard lump this morning.

I do 6 classes at the gym on Mondays. Think I aggravated it yesterday

I thought you weren't supposed to squeeZe boils? My sons got a beast of one That I'd love to squeeze but all the nhs advice is that it's a total no no and have done so in the past and had to have anti biotics ...Sorry to be a party pooper

DameDiazepamTheDramaQueen · 12/09/2017 07:27

Obviously the no squeeze advice doesn't apply to us!

TSSDNCOP · 12/09/2017 07:30

Is it at the base of your spine? I had one there once that was excruciating. I had to take a day off work after a weekend of lying face down. Suddenly there was a crack and the bastard went postal with the pus. God knows what I would have done otherwise.

ElfrideSwancourt · 12/09/2017 07:30

Sounds like a pilonidal sinus - you probably should go to your GP

Wheelycote · 12/09/2017 08:15

If it's the pilonodal, it's really common. Don't pop it, go get it checked get it checked

SleepingBooty · 12/09/2017 08:19

Ooh pilonidal sinus, ive had recurring ones which grew to an egg size, finally resolved by surgery followed by daily nurse dressings

uggmum · 12/09/2017 19:08

It's not at the bottom of my spine. It's further round. Inside the arse cheek.

I had a good shave round there the other day which has probably caused it.

All sporners squeeze. The the law!!

Any news yet uggmum, what have you got to report Grin

Courgetti2203 · 28/09/2017 21:41

It's sounds like an anal fistula. You ought to get it checked out to make sure as it could need draining and packing. Good luck.
