Ds has a lump

Ds is 5. He has very sensitive skin (hates having his hair brushed, hates plasters, kind of thing). He has had a little pimple on his face for ages and I've managed to sit on my hands. Its getting red and sore now though so he wants rid but won't let mW touch it. Any suggestions? Pic attached.

If you can get him into a warm bath/shower it should help draw it our and hopefully distract him with bath toys.

I would not attempt it while they're asleep though

Unfortunately he won't tolerate heat... Baths are barely more than lukewarm. I tried a slightly warm face cloth to wash his face this evening and he went mad.

It's so gorgeous and ripe and I want to pop it! (I did take some consolation from pulling a very thick quick off his big toe. He'll never let me near it now!)

Soften it up with a damp warm cotton wool compress. That spot should pop fairly easily.

Put some Savlon cream on it and get it when he's asleep!

I'd also try a very vigorous face wash with a flannel!

Would he have some drawing paste on it?

My 6 yr old had a spot like that. I convinced her to let me squeeze it a couple of times a night until it got really angry, then one night it finally popped out - a hard white ball Still not entirely sure what it was..

What is drawing paste, Pam? Mag sulph? He's so tetchy about anything on his skin I'm not sure he'll let me. If it was my own I'd have had a great time with hot flannels and a good squeeze. A warm cotton ball might be a compromise with him, queenio.
