Has anyone noticed that there is a certain type of potato blemish that pops out like a little shallow blackhead when you poke the edge gently with a potato peeler point..........................

How did I not know about this. I am married into a family of potato farmers FFS! I didn't think I had anything left to learn about spuds but it seems that they've kept the only interesting fact from me. The bastards.
