The paronychia on my big toe is nearly ready for lancing - you can see the green showing through the skin just on the edge of the nail.

What shall I do?

Get your camera and a big needle ready?

Today or tomorrow? Can I even wait? It's taken over a week for the bloody thing to ripen, and, f!!! was it sore!

(Yuck my toenail's ugly. I shall hide it under shellac this summer, then treat the nail over winter.)

Well, that was utterly unclimactic and deeply disappointing.

Where was the gush of oozing green stuff? There's usually masses of the stuff.
