Preauricular sinus

DS1 has these on both ears. I have a link to a YouTube video as DS ears are not ready to yield their sporn just yet.

both my kids have this. Me and DH don't , nor anyone else in the family.

DS 4.5 has one on his left ear. It produces occasionally. He can tell I'm coming for it though ...

He also has some massive blackheads in his right ear that he won't let me near

Please be very, very careful with these.

It is impossible to tell how far down they go, and how near facial nerves and structures.

If they get infected they are very hard to treat, and often need surgical excision- which can be very major if they are extensive.

I am all for sporn but I wouldn't go near one of these things, the risks are too high.
