but I am slightly annoyed that some of the comments and targets seem to ignore his Dyspraxia ... for example in PE or having to "to listen carefully and to remember group discussion points to take to follow up work"

Part of dyspraxia is about having a rubbish memory!!

Oh well... he's got Cs mostly, so with the problems he's faced this year, that's very good IMO, don't you think?

My daughter ( social communication disorder) got her school report on friday. She did very well and very proud of her. I`ll have a 1-2-1 meeting with teacher to see what she needs help with in the summer to get her ready for next year, since she finds changes hard.

Dd1 (AS) had hers last week, it wasn't too bed, maths and english above average, Drama made me laugh, it said 'dd1 gets very frustrated when other children forget their lines or try to change the story line' , the word 'frustrated' came up a lot. PE said 'dd1 was very reluctant to join in as she felt she would fail to complete activities, she's now trying to join in'. A typical AS report i think.

J's was very mixed too. Excellent for reading and ICT (his two expert areas) but poor for Maths (they have a different teacher for Maths, who can't bear him and the feeling is mutual) and for Art, handwriting and D&T (poor motor skills probably have something to do with that, I reckon!).

But very positive comments, acknowledging the massive progress he's made in joining in. Very happy

ds2's report was lovely, said lovely things about him and about how hard he tries etc etc.
He isn't quite there on the nc levels yet but tbh he his there and he is HAPPY!!!!
