Poor sod, his sons going through the statementing process (4.5 functioning at 18 month old level, probable autism)we'vegot quite friendly and often have a coffee and a gossip. He keeps asking me what to, what to expect etc, i've been there, my own two are asd and there is basicly sod all.

He had an appt with the paed today, he looked so optimistic when he left, I think he was expecting a golden ticket, came back later (made an excuse about getting something which he didnt get) saying he felt even more confused, askin where are the answers ??

Had to tell him, there are no answers, and nobody will help him. He has to help his son find the way, advised him to join the national autistic society and handed him a book (ASA and the room)

His face when he left tho Even dp noticed
