Day 2 and already crying tears of exhaustion!

Day 2 of nursery holidays, took DD out in morning, she ran around loads, came home at lunchtime, and just had day in as I am totally exhausted (I don't have great health) and have injured neck.

DD just tore round the house throwing things about. It's frustrating..she wants my attention but doesn't know what to do with it..so if I at all switch off and rest for a second she causes total havoc, but if I interact with her she runs off.

I know I should take her out morning and afternoon but sometimes I literally do NOT have the energy to get off the sofa (have had ME).

It's going to be a looong 7 weeks. And we didn't qualify for respite when assessed by SW.

Seriously hanging on by skin of teeth to look after DD.

Fortunately we are going on holiday tomorrow, although haven't had energy to pack!

Sorry, I am always posting moany threads!!

Hey Fanjo,
hope you are ok. You off somewhere nice on hols. Have a lovely time and take it one day at a time. Maybe your wee one will adjust to the not going to nursery routine quicker than you think.

dunno how old your dd is and maybe no help soon enough for you but what about homestart??

hope you have a lovely holiday xx

Thanks, waitingforgodot..scarily I think she is LOVING not being at nursery and spending time with me, and its making her hyper!!

We are just going to Dumfries and Galloway, but should be a nice break.

Thanks meerkats, she is 3.8 going on 18 months I think!!

Will definitely think about Homestart.

She is just so lively with little understanding.
