Al1son · 30/06/2010 22:14

OMG! What the hell do you reply to that?

ouryve · 30/06/2010 22:32

I don't know whether to laugh or cry tbh

StarOfValkyrie · 30/06/2010 22:40

what? What exactly was she implying? That you should have put her back where she came from?

Sorry. I'm having a bad night but that has made me .

FWIW I think you're a good mum and I haven't met you or your dcs!

I have had the same comment from my mums boy friend , felt like punching him in the face. I also hate it when peoples say 'how do you cope? i could never cope if it was me'of course you would bloody cope (you have to).

And 2shoes, you are a great mum (and i have never met you).

Ampersand44 · 01/07/2010 14:03

That one gets me too - I always want to say 'well why don't you give me some bloody help then' ... besides, if this is coping, then I'd hate to see what not coping is like (that's not meant to sound as pathetic as it does but you know what I mean).

StarOfValkyrie · 01/07/2010 15:04

Yes, someone said to me, 'well I'd never be able to do what you do'

I wanted to scream that they would if it was their life 24/7 as you get a lot of practise and why don't they actually test out their stupid theory and offer to try it out for a day.
