Only small thing, but have ranted here before, so thought i would post a bit of good news. Went to see school for ds, start 2011. (Went with lovely (and switched on) portage teacher who has done amazing things with ds.)
school was good, but also visited new pre-school attached to it (as ds has a full year before he starts). Workers there said 'it would be lovely to have ds' (no problems about signing, have done so before, already using symbols, no probs to need extra worker, no need for me to go in and train them.) Just he sounds lovely we would love to have him!!!!! We look forward to seeing him and you at the open session.
Someone who actually sees the lovely little chap he is first and foremost.
nearly brought tears to my eyes.
