I can't get the words out. It is such a responsibility. The most important thing I have ever had to write!

Thanks justa It looks screamingly clear to me. I shall try to remember that.

Arsenic Blardy great minds. That is EXACTLY my next step.

Hunted for and found those exact same sticky notes. I was going crazy wondering how I was going to code the documents knowing for sure I'd have to recode and recode before it was all finished and those sticking things can be altered without all the frantic scribbling and confusion.

lol at souls making it easier though. MN souls certainly are helping!

just to give you a little smile.. Ds2 actually asked me over the weekend
1: what to do in a particular social issue.. ( yay and dances about)
and
2: what I was thinking because my arms were crossed and my eyebrows were wonky ! Was I trying not to laugh? ( actually I was getting rather cross with him being 2 inches from my face!)

but how cool is that!

StarOfValkyrie · 13/06/2010 22:55

Oh that's just brilliant. Those things are just sunshine moments!

Star, I am sure you have seen this? It gives clear precedent for ABA programmes in Herts, and acknowledges your right to opt for it, and gives acknowledgement of £264,000 being allocated for ABA programmes in 2003/4.

debs40 · 13/06/2010 23:51

It says "in appropriate cases". LAs will always argue there is not a blanket ban but that this is not an appropriate case - same arguments PCTs use.

Hope you pulled it all together Star. It is so depressing to have wade through all the misery - yet again. Evidence is the key thing and you are not alone in presenting that.

Hello debs and lou.

Getting there. Had a sunshine moment this morning when ds said 'silly ds, wee in the bed, trousers all wet'

Okay, not your average person's sunshine moment but the level of communication for him was astounding.

And yes, 'in appropriate cases' means they have never found one yet. Dunno what they are doing with the money then. Or possibly 'appropriate' means where a tribunal rules!?

I have done the hard part I think. I have a document now. It can be vastly improved but as it stands it has most of the key points. I'll be working on it this morning, and evening etc etc.......

That's the way, Star, get it all down on paper and then you can go through and tidy up etc. Getting it all down is the important and distressing bit.

Good for you and yeah for DS!!

Morning Star, hope you are making progress. Its bloody hard to write in a more human way, when we spend the rest of the time detaching ourselves emotionally to keep us sane and get the job done. SN robots!

You go girl, kick their arses

StarOfValkyrie · 15/06/2010 10:11

Same to you claw!
