The NHS target is not the same as mine.

Mine is that my nearly 5 year old will be able to speak confident in the knowledge that he will be understood. And that he sounds like someone without a speech problem, as far as possible.

Theirs is that he gets to a point where they don't have to treat him any more.

Sorry, feeling very sorry for my wee man and myself this day. I know others are far worse off! gives self fish slap

oh bigweehag - it must be something in the air - I am feeling exactly th same after a trip to the park. DS is only 2.9 but I can't envisage understandable speech anytime soon and I don't mean that to sound negative either.
