I just had an email telling me we have been awarded 25hrs support for DD at school - how much help do you think she will get?

& if it's less than 25 hrs how will they justify it?

Plus is SAP funding fixed or can it be wiggled round?

But it isn't a statement

It is emergency funding from the Single Area Panel

You will have to talk to the school and see how they want to use the time?

Maths & science 6hrs

Spanish & French 2.5hrs total

Tech (food/wood/IT) 5 hrs

English 3 hrs

PE/Games 2 hrs

History & Geography 2.5 hrs

Music/citizanship/RE/Art 3.5 hrs

So that's 24.5 hrs

so no planning time then??

The more I think about it the more convinced I am that she will have to dump some subjects in order to keep up in others - the maths assessment she did a few weeks ago took over 3 hrs of prep

So do I get to choose what she dumps?

Well panic over - I met someone from school who said that the 25 hours was in addition to what she gets already

Which makes me feel a lot better
