Parents of visually impaired children?

My friends Daughter is registered blind, I was telling her about Mumsnet and said there is nothing better than chatting with other Mums of SN kids. But haven't noticed anyone mention a visual impairment.

I said I would have a look for a site were she could chat with other Mums but not having much luck?

Contact a family might be a good first point of call. Sorry, haven't any other ideas!

She has a lot of concerns for the future but doesn't have anyone to chat with about it. Obviously I try to understand and can to a degree but our childrens disabilities are totally different.
