Am so chuffed. Its a bit of a proud mummy moment. Although he was imitating me, its the first time I have seen any pretend play like this.

Sweet!

And the weather must be prompting this sort of play - DS2 gave his doll a drink, the other day. He watched me doing it, came over, snatched the doll off me and did it himself. We actually bought the doll to help spark interest in potty training, since he's ripping off wet nappies, but it's a lovely side effect!

Seems to have been a flow of mini breakthroughs - a bit more language, a bit more understanding, a more developing relationship with his brother - who he watches like a hawk when on joint trips and won't allow to wander off !. He is getting a bit better at simple Nintendo games too.
