I realised that DD1 has 150 hours of preschool left. For a 4 year old that is a lot of hours to waste.
She was nice, but very sceptical about the possibility. The school is chocca, and there are school-age children who are waiting to get in, having to wait til September.
But, she now knows about the Area Inco wanting to delay statementing until Christmas 2009, and knows that she was going to look into Special Schools in March, and knows that this would have been far too late. She said it concerned her because it doesn't just impact DD1, but other children also. So that's good.
She's asked me to give her a few days, and she will talk to the school and see if they can help preschool in any way.
