Have made appointment to see gp tomorrow- I believe ds has aspergers, so I guess I will ask to be referred to someone?

Would appreciate the benefit of others' experiences, any questions I should ask or things worth mentioning? We have just moved, so this gp knows nothing about us or our medical history, and it is the first contact I have made to discuss this issue.

Also, I get the impression that the assessment process and the length of time it takes varies massively depending on where you are, so if anyone reading this is in Worcestershire I'd really appreciate it if you could say how long it took for you and what the process was?
