Just a quick note to say to each mum in this thread THANK YOU!!!
My family was relocated from Spain to the UK a month ago, three months after we learned that my younger son has a suspicion of ASD (he is just 2.5, and I think that is why the doctor avoided a conclusive diagnosis).
I spend three to four hours every day doing research on the subject, trying to learn about ASD itself, buying books, searching for treatments and support available in this country, etc. I have to say that your posts have been the most helpful information I found about ABA in UK.
Thank you again for sharing your knowledge and experience. Please keep talking, so you can help people like me to start moving in the right direction. For now I will be only watching, but I hope soon I will also be able to help someone.
