hello all
this is just to let you know we run a local treating autism support group in battersea London, once a month. It is very informal and its nice to meet other mum's sit down with a cup of tea and learn and exchange new ideas
we are based near clapham junction anyone wishing to come along the next one starts from 10.30am on 20th may 2010.we will be looking at some more video from nacd.

not near london so cant go, but would really agree that the treating autism website is really helpful.

gluten free, casein free has been v helpful for us.

Ah wow, that sounds fab. I'm not too far and would love to come. I'm Mum to a little boy with Asperger Syndrome. I'll email you for more info.

Ah, looked at the website. Are there cognitive therapies discussed too? I can't do the biomedical ones with him as he also has complex health issues and had a bowel transplant in 2008. He's on a load of medication and special feed etc so this kind of dietry control is unsuitable. He's gluten free anyway as he has milk and tube feeds at the moment.

hello if you cant do biomedical you can do homeopathy
you may want to consider autonomic response testing [muscle testing and using homeopathy]
there are a few pracisioner around
jonathon frewing in east grinstead[waiting list fairly short 5 months]

dr klinghart east grinstead [long waiting list] but an absolute genius when it comes to autism [this is my personal opinion
lilias almeira [aberdeenshire] absolutely fantastic

and also christina head fantastic homeopath

we also go cognitive therapies
osteopathy, shiatsu scotson technique at the advance centre, nordoff robbins for music
there are many we do discuss everythign available to help children in amy way we can and we have other groups around the country,

hello sarah i know another mum a friend whose child is on a special feed no actual digesting foods she sees Dr Krigman who has really helped her daughter if you want to meet her she comes to my support group.
