That's in a nutshell she called me up this morning to say she's over this way wants pop in meet me and ds so we can discuss speech units and she needs to assess where ds fits best

Could not really say anything other than ok but short notice I am not seeing units myself till next week

How did it go?

She came to talk over the units and how they operate seems lea feel ds will fit in the one further away as they use more signing padgett gorman rather than makaton though and the dc are ft in the unit rather than intergrated though think for ds that be the best

Am not taking them on her word not that I don't trust the LEA and she admittered herself she foes not go into the units much as more ms based but agrees ds needs unit and they will approach unit see if there willing to go one over for a halfterm starting ds asap

have been able to persuade units let me come visit this week along with my question list so be intresting and busy week 3 units in 3 days

well that sounds reasonable enough, what she said but obviously you want to see the units for yourself and speak to the staff who might be teaching your son every day! it's all coming together at last, isn't it?

I really hope so ds needs school and as much as I love him I need a break to
