School has suggested ds3 needs an EEG due to an increase in his absences, they don't think its epilepsy as he can be brought out of them usually quite quickly by calling his name etc

however having looked online I see that blinking can be a sign of a seizure and he does do that on occasion; they also mention change of tone- soemtimes, when he is most absent, his jaw drops and he sort of slumps- is that what they mean?

Presumaably GP after seeing him (cant until week after next as theya re booked up) will sned for EEG won't they? We've been dismissed as having asd absences before but it's in his link book now that he could do with a check.
