thats all she says when she wants something, while holding your hand and trying to drag you whereever it is. I have tried asking her 10 different ways about what she wants, but no luck
Anyone have suggestions? PECS? would they work? not used them here before.
She's 2.5 years and has developed some speech regression and awaiting SALT refferal and CDAC
TIA

"help me" lisa, IMO is very good! DS drags me into the kitchen for things and he is nearly three. Sometimes he will say what he wants. Most times not, he'll just stand where the apples or cakes are and shriek!

The special needs centre where we are suggested taking photos of various things, food, drinks, places we go to. It's a kind of pre-PECS - we're still waiting for specialist SALT. I keep the pictures in a clear plastic pencil case but there are also Velcro strips to keep photos on.

I would recommend PEC'S, you can make them yourself or print pictures from the net. Just start with 3 or 4 pictures of her favorite things (toys or food).

Dd2 did the hand dragging thing just before we started PEC'S.
