Anyone on here have a Maclaren Major with a shopping basket on?

Do you have to remove the empty basket to fold the pushchair? Is the base of the basket solid?

Am waying up whether to bankrupt myself buy one or not.

The basket on mine is all fabric and just folds into the buggy when you collapse it.

Same here, sort of canvas.

ok thanks, wondered if they were solid and had to be removed like the footplate (what a faff when you have to fold the buggy holding the footplate and DS) but sounds like not.
