15 years ago today I had the worst experience of my life,
I was so excited, couldn't wait to meet my new baby, all went well and then all went wrong, my baby came out hardly breathing, was rushed off to SBCU and I didn't even get to see her, it was 2 days until I got to hold her, 2 very long days.
life has been different, it hasn't taken the road I expected or had planned.
we have had so many ups and downs. at 10 months dd was dx with Cp and our life became about wheelchairs and sn schools.
then when she was 6 it all went wrong again as the sodding epilepsy started.
we nearly lost her again as she was allergic to diazepam and nearly died again.
but........
here we are 15 years on and I am so lucky, so lucky to have my beautiful dd in my life.
I wouldn't want it it, can't imagine it any different now.
she is a ray of sunshine in our lives,
happy birthday dd 15 today.
