we have been told £400 for cog assessment so DH says

I should have asked him first

I wanted a DYSPRAXIA specialist which she isn't

SO don't know what she is specialist in really

It cost us £800 for a full EP report.

The EP we saw dx J with dyspraxia and made loads of recommendations that J should be assessed asap for ASD by the local multi agency team....they still refused.

Without this report there would have been no way that we would have secured J's statement...so every penny of the £800 was worth it.

So I wonder what the £400 is for

DH thinks it is for cog assessment -- have no idea what that is anyway

He has got a DX of dyspraxia already from OT and Physio and paed.

The EP saw him at school for about 10 mins and was supposed to do an assesment but spent about 10 mins with him

Useless waste of time he was

Have you considered the Dyscovery Centre as they specialise in dyspraxia? You would have to travel to Cardiff though. Or it might be worth talking to them and asking for suggestions for ed pyschs with specialist interest in Dyspraxia.
