In complete contrast to many threads on here, she has been a great help over the past few years, sorting out home help, respite, etc, but is now moving jobs.

So now we won't have a named SW but will be allocated to the "Duty Desk".

Should I worry?

We have had this same one from when we first moved here 6 years agao.

They have said that as our case is fairly settled, we won't have a named SW at all now.

Ooh, feel slightly worried...

Our Social Worker has gone on maternity leave for a year. We have been given another one to cover this. Luckily ds and I know all the SW's on the team! You should definetly ask for a named SW. Cant you say something like your ds/dd needs a familiar face every time they come not a different face?? Just a thought!!!
