Isle of Wight in August

Can anyone recommend accommodation ie self catering preferably or hotel with enclosed gardens as DS 3.8 ASD and a runner. CAn't face the airport so UK this year but so in need of a break. THanks

The Overstrand Hotel in Shanklin is lovely and very family friendly - they have a large expanse of grass for running around on and a children's play area. The beach is a five minute walk away.

We had a lovely holiday there when the DC were younger.
