Don't know what to do. DD2 copying DD1 at preschool [sad]

DD1 has behavioural problems as part of her overall dx.

DD2 started preschool 2 weeks ago, and has started copying DD1 - running around during the sitting down times, etc.

Preschool say they will 'persevere a bit longer', but I don't know what the result will be if DD2 doesn't settle down

She is such a placid little thing if she isn't with DD1.

Will dd1 be going up to school in September? if so i wouldn't worry too much as dd2 will settle and copy the others.

Lou, i can relate so well, i could have written your post, although DD isn't yet at nursery she starts in 2 m. We have this at home all the time. DD copies DS , all his behavioural issues he will do , she used to be a sweet happy girl and when she hit about 20 m, she started imitating and odf course DS isn't the ideal role model.
Now she is challenging to the max at bathtime, getting dressed,...she slaps, runs away, screams, she shows such stubborness.
Also because DS cannot share anything and snatches things off her hands all the time, she is becoming selfish and weary whenever she has something.
So i can see problems at nursery looming in the horizon...
