Otherwise it seems I have to spend £50 on a raincover and canopy thing for the raincover to fit on.

Sorry to day it'll be too small.

You need a huge frame one, Mothercare used to do them for £30 I think.

Give me a few minutes, Ill see if I can find any suitable ones.

I wasn't sure cos the actual seat doesn't seem that much bigger than a normal buggy - just the overall frame. DS' head is already at the top of his!

This one or This one might fit it, and if they doesn't can always be returned. Pretty sure a few people have bought them on the boards.

That's what I was thinking of getting first. I had never seen the sort like I linked to until a minute ago. Thought it might be better cos it looked like it would store in the basket better. What do you do with those framed ones when it's not raining?

They fold up like a hood would so you still keep them on the pram.

nappyaddict · 06/03/2010 22:34

Can you fold the pushchair whilst it's folded up like a hood iyswim?

Oh right, no I think you'd have to take it off.

I had a framed raincover on DD1's major, I could fold it with it on.

nappyaddict · 08/03/2010 09:08

Was it like the one I linked to or the one 5inthebed linked to?

Oh and was it the Maclaren one that's meant to fit it or was it a universal one?

I got this one for mine, not cheap but a lot cheaper than the official one. It has the square fittings for the frame. I've always removed it for folding as it says to.
