DS8 -almost outgrown disposable swimpants

DS8, nearly 9- cannot initiate or decide to go to the toilet on his own. Hence permanently in pullups. He is very slim- but at some point in the near future he'll need bigger swim pants. We use the disposable ones, and I know it's not enviro friendly but I really would like to find disposable ones for older kids. Anyone got any ideas?

Not a lot in the way of "bigger" disposable swim pants out there is there. would you consider re-usables. Ones that undo at the sides are easy to get off dirty without a mess. like these

Italian company - some odd english, I think its just translation issues. They have re-useable swim pants for all ages
