Waited 7 months after CAMHS said they would see DS. Initial view had been yes he had AS traits. Not typical but they would see him under communication disorders heading.
Saw him yesterday. I thought they would then see us but no. They phoned with a few questions but feel they have now enough information as the school are very good -and gave them very full information.
It feels very strange now that I will know soon whether he has AS or not or something else.

One more. Our CAMHS says they dont do any support after diagnosis -they pass to another agency - under local council I think.
Is this typical? I felt a bit disappointed because I though CAMHS would support us sfterwards too.
