While she was asleep.

She stirred - but didn't wake.

But is now moaning in her sleep. Hope I got it in the right place!

The nurses have never said to test for stomach contents for a mickey - only for the ng tube.

If its in the wrong place then maybe nothing can go in? Apparently it is agonisingly painful if it's not in the right place.

(you have got me slightly worried)

Ooops. Will do next time! She's had a complete overnight feed and breakfast by now. And she's had the mickey for a few years so it is probably well healed. Can't believe routines are so different around the country!

Don't even know if we have any ph paper left - is does get used up for childrens' experiments!

well done you! the first ones the worst, i reckon ive done about 20 odd in the last year, for a while there ds was going thru one a week! this current ones been in 3 weeks now! yippee!
