Am trying to find a present for my twin boys who are 6 in May they both have complex special needs which includes global devolpmental delay and neither of them really play with toys iykwim? both preferring to sit ripping up paper into little pieces or playing in a fashion with their baby sisters toys which they only want if she has hold of them first..

When we go for appointments they both always rush to the huge activity blocks most out patient clinics now seem to have and i been browsing special need toy supplier websites and came across the table below so was wondering if anybody has one and if it is huge? Also was it worth the money as it is quite expensive and it will be a joint pressie for them i just really want to find a toy they will love to bit and actually spend time playing with for once rather than it all being left in toy boxes like all their xmas stuff has been Also does anybody know anywhere that sells them cheaper lol thanks in advance jan xx

circle of fun

They are tiny Lewis one of the twins has growth hormone defiency and is only 95 cm's now lol plus once they outgrown it their baby sister can play with it im still not sure if to buy it cos it a lot of money to spend if im not sure if they will play with it... I want to get them something they will actually play with not ignore and it is starting to get harder and harder!! xx

well this is a cube and not a table but a lot cheaper than 300 quid!

and Ikea does a nice bead coaster for about 8 quid, quite big and nice wooden beads.

We got wooden bead coasters and they only play with them if our baby is playing with them the cube they have broken two of them so far preferring to stand on it and throw it about than actually play with it i just dunno what to buy them any more dp doesnt want to get the table he said he can see them standng on it and breaking that as well so we are back to what the hell do we buy them grr
