Hi Riven, good to have you back.
It would have been good to know someone was concerned with our welfare after being trapped in for over a week

No.

Nor has she responded to the 3 emails I have sent her over the past 11 days.

Welcome Back Riven!! I would just like to have a social worker...I had my (personal, for me not the DC's) assessment of needs done 2 years ago, was told I was entitled to help round the house and regular support visits...still not seen anyone since the one visit where they did the original forms....

meltedmarsbars · 14/01/2010 14:28

No here too.

SW, no. I highly doubt she has made it back into work yet, she's a career absentee part-timer.

Dom care rang though, bless them. I think to see if we needed DD1 minding while we got urgent supplies in. As it happens we were fine, but v kind to ask.

Of course, the very next day our prebooked Dom Care didn't turn up because the woman couldn't get her car out of her drive. So it was clearly a theoretical offer only, which does downgrade it a bit!

Only to say she couldn't turn up to pre-arranged meeting (she's missed 3 in all due to snow). She hasn't a clue though.
