Just received appointment for autism assessment for DS

What should I expect? What are your experiences going through the process? Is it over and done with in one day?

Ours was over ina few hours. Start a daily diary and dig out the home movies. they will ask you a question, you will say yes he does that, they will then ask for examples. So you can use videos or diary to recall. Its hard work but worth it.

He is 3. We keep a diary at the moment so thats good. I feel quite nervous about it.
