Waiting to see if there's a bed for DS so he can be observed

So after another dreadful night of seizures we have called the hospital and the consultant and they finally agree that things are out of control and that he should be seen. There's no space on the paediatric neuro ward so they are looking for space else where - that was at 9.30am and still no news!

Have had to send DS2 off with my parents just in case we get a call tonight which is making me sad as I have missed him since he was back at school today

Am very relieved though that we are being taken seriously - think my sobbing down the phone at the nurse on the ward helped a bit

Fingers crossed for a phone call soon!

Looks like we'll be doing your tactic Riven! Spoke to very nice nurse on ward who basically said that the she has been trying all day and the only way we can get a bed is to go to A & E.

Bloody ridiculous - she said the Drs want him here to see him but via A&E is the only way onto the ward

Right. Off the tackle the rush hour into Leeds on the motorway At least all the piss heads shouldn't have made it into A&E yet
