sorry for going on again but dont reallyt know anything i can do and know you ladies will have some wonderful advice.

We had been referred backt o CDAC by school nurse with backing from SENCO, because DD1 was given an informal dx of ASD in june, and because of informal part AS advisory team wont see DD in school and they are struggling. We are doing slightly better at home but she has been self harming and very low and tearful most days.

Been chasing this for weeks and spoke to lady at CDAC today and they have refused to see her They have said its too soon after her last appointment to reassess her, and to refer again in 6 months!! and there is a 6 month waiting list, meaning by then she will be in different school with different SENCO, different teacher and different head teacher, we need help now not a years time!! I am so and

they have referred us to CAMHS but im pretty sure they wont see us as her behaviour is clearly linked to ASD.

please help, I dont know who to call now, what to do.

the other kick in the teeth is that I asked for a review meeting to be set for 6 months after appointment, but they closed her case instead!!

Go back to your GP & get him to kick arse, its not an assessment youa re asking for it is help & advice, therefore it shouldn't matter how recently she was assessed if her needs have chnaged youas a familt need support.
Do you or your daughter have a social worker who can also have an influence.

Our GP is not here atm but will think about which one might help, most of them are a PITA apart from our own one.

No social worker, shame i could get one of my colleuges to call but think that might be frowned on
