I only caught part of it but it sounded very good, expect you can go to the BBC Radio 4 website and "listen again". They said at the end that, if anyone has anything to say about SLT provision they can post comments at their website.

just listened to this and thought it was pretty well judged.

Kamini Gadhok made some good points, and predictably, the NHS bod sidestepped the issues. However, they mentioned that SLTs often leave because of poor pay and conditions, but didn't say what the poor conditions were.

In my experience, it's the conditions and not the pay that make people leave. I think I'm fairly paid and so do most of my contempories, but I think we are often badly treated, not just by managers.
