Any reason for it? Christmas? Cold weather? It's only £10 but it is very exciting and much needed.

yeah they do it every year, you get an extra £10 "christmas present" in the DLA too!

Oh fab!

I've only been getting CA since July, so never had it before. Remember getting the £10 last year though.

Excellent.

And don't you get the cold winter bonus sometime soon aswell for DLA and carers? £60 each (correct me if I'm wrong)

Oh Yay party at mione then

There was a report on the news yesterday that the Gocernment was saying that the requested fuel allowance for critically ill peoplem(it was spec.cancer which costs patients a fortune in heating if they wish to survive) was unnecessary as DLA is generous enough.

I used to work for MAcmillan and we gave a fortune in heating grnats if anyone knows anyone in that sit, but does sound like no grant this year doesn't it? Don't think we need it this time round, but last year it bought me a coat as well as paid the electricity remainder so was badly warranted.

Others will need it though, and so I just hope the temps stay up.
